Vehicle Safety System
This project aims to develop a vehicle safety system that detects drowsiness and checks for drunk driving. Drowsy and Drunk driving causes thousands of road accidents every year. Recent statistics show that there are 4,00,000 car crashes involving fatalities that happened in the United states. Research shows that drowsy driving is one of the factors that causes up to 40% of road accidents followed by over-speeding and irresponsible(drunk) driving. The National Road Safety Council stated that driving in drowsiness is as much dangerous as driving under the influence of alcohol since they have similar symptoms such as both reducing concentration on the roads and reducing decision making ability. This project can be considered as an initiative towards decreasing the number of accidents caused due to fatigue or drowsy state and drunk driving by the drivers. We propose to design a system which can detect the drowsy state of the driver and alcohol consumption of the driver and make the driver aware of the possible danger due to his reduced concentration on driving which may also affect the level of driving and decision taking.By monitoring the state of the Human eyes, it is assumed that the signs of the driver’s fatigue can be detected early enough to prevent a possible road accident, which could result in severe injuries or ultimately, in fatalities. This system is focused on video monitoring of the driver's face, especially on his eye position. When it is being closed or when it is open. By using Computer Vision and Face Detection algorithm, we perform mapping of the face to obtain Facial Landmark points of the face which provides us the coordinates of the eyes, nose, and different parts of the face. Based on the landmark points. It will calculate Eye Aspect Ratio(EAR), which will provide us with information about the drowsiness state of the driver. This system detects the alcohol consumption of the driver by alcohol detection sensor, which will raise an alarm if the driver is found to have consumed alcohol.

Weather Monitoring System
This project aims to develop a weather monitoring system. This System is an advanced, real-time environmental monitoring solution designed to provide accurate and reliable data on various weather parameters. This system offers a comprehensive overview of current weather conditions, forecasts, and historical data trends.
Sunlight Monitoring: Measures sunlight intensity, duration, and UV radiation levels,
Rainfall Detection: Accurately detects rainfall intensity, duration, and accumulation, enabling informed decision-making for flood control, water resource management, and agricultural planning.
Air Quality Monitoring: Tracks particulate matter (PM2.5, PM10), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), ozone (O3), carbon monoxide (CO), and other pollutants, providing critical data for air quality management and public health protection.
Real-time Data Visualization: Presents collected data in interactive, web-based graphs, charts, and maps, facilitating easy analysis and interpretation of weather trends and patterns.
Online Reporting: Generates automated reports on weather conditions, providing stakeholders with timely, actionable insights for decision-making.
Historical Data Storage: Archives collected data for future reference, enabling long-term trend analysis, research, and forecasting.
Alerts and Notifications: Sends customizable alerts and notifications via email, SMS, or mobile app, ensuring prompt response to severe weather events or air quality exceedances.
Integration with Weather Forecasting Models: Combines real-time data with numerical weather prediction (NWP) models, enhancing forecast accuracy and reliability.
